How to Export All RMAs with Shopify Order Numbers

If you're looking to export a report of all Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) along with their associated Shopify order numbers, WeSupply makes this possible through the reporting dashboard. While our system does not currently support full-year reports in a single export, you can still retrieve all the data you need with a quick monthly workaround.

Why Export RMAs with Shopify Order Numbers?

Exporting RMA data is helpful for tracking returns, reconciling inventory, analyzing customer behavior, and sharing information with your fulfillment or finance teams. Including the Shopify order number ensures that you can match return requests to the original transactions in your Shopify store for greater visibility and accuracy.

How to Export RMA Reports Month by Month

Follow these steps to generate and download RMA reports for each month:

1. Log into your WeSupply Admin Dashboard
2. Navigate to the Reports section
   In the left-hand sidebar, click on Reports and select Returns.
3. Set the Date Filter
   • Choose a 30-day period for the report.
   • Unfortunately, reports longer than 30 days are not supported at this time, so you will need to generate reports for each month individually.
4. Generate the Report
   • After selecting your date range, click Generate Report.
   • The system will compile the return data for the selected period.
5. Download the Report
   Once the report is ready, click Download to save it as a CSV file.
   • Each report will include details such as the RMA number and Shopify order number.
6. Repeat for Each Month
   • Repeat steps 3–5 for each month in the year you need to export.
   • After all monthly files are downloaded, you can combine them manually into a single spreadsheet if needed.

Tip: Organize Your Files for Easier Review

We recommend naming each file clearly (e.g., RMA_January_2025.csv, RMA_February_2025.csv) to streamline the consolidation process later.
