1. Overview
By enabling delivery estimates on your Magento storefront, your customers will be able to see estimated delivery dates directly on the product page and checkout flow. This feature builds trust, sets clear expectations, and helps reduce “Where is my order?” inquiries.
2. Pre-requisites
Before setting up delivery estimates, make sure you have:
- A WeSupply account connected to your Magento store.
- Delivery promise rules configured in WeSupply (to calculate estimated delivery dates).
- The WeSupply Magento extension installed and properly integrated.

3. Step-by-Step Instructions
In WeSupply
- Ensure that you have your store .csv file uploaded in WeSupply
- Navigate to Settings → Locations → Manage CSV Location File.
- Click on the Download the Sample CSV button, which can be used as an example, and fill it out with your own store addresses.
- Afterward, save the Store CSV and get back to your WeSupply account.
- Click on the Upload Stores CSV button and choose from your computer the file you'd like to upload.
- When you're done, make sure you saved the file by clicking on the Save Changes button.
- Navigate to Settings → Locations → Manage CSV Location File.
- Ensure that you have your default courier for estimating delivery dates configured into WeSupply.
- To do this, head into Settings → Carriers → Delivery Promise Carriers and choose the courier along with the shipping method.

In Magento
- Log in to your Magento Admin Panel.
- In the left-hand menu, navigate to Admin → Stores → Configuration → Sales → Shipping Methods.
- In the left-side bar, navigate to WeSupply → Configuration and go over these configurations:
- Allow logged-in/guest customers to receive estimations for the delivery date and set Enable Delivery Estimations: Set this to Yes.
- Product Attributes: select the attributes used by WeSupply Platform to create delivery estimation logic.
- Add Estimation Range: Set additional days for delivery estimations.
- For example: If you set the range with a value 2of and the shipping vendor estimation is for 28 April, the shown estimation will be as follows: 28 April - 30 April
- Estimation Display Mode - When multiple products are added to the cart, and each has a different processing time ,you have 3 options to display the delivery date:
- earliest - will display the earliest date the products are going to be delivered
- range - will display the range between the earliest and latest delivery date
- latest - this will show the date the latest product is going to be delivered.
- Note: if you do split shipments, you can select "earliest" or "range", however, if you ship all products in one box, it is recommended to use "latest".
- Estimation Format:- select the format in which you would like to display the estimated arrival date
- "Order within" Display: create urgency and Display "Order within" if the remaining time is lower than this value (in hours).
- Default Shipping Vendor: this option got moved to the WeSupply Platform, please select the courier you would like to use when doing calculations on the product page.
- Save your configuration.
- Clear your Magento cache to ensure changes are visible on the storefront:
- Navigate to System → Cache Management → Flush Cache.
- Open a product page on your storefront to confirm that the estimated delivery message appears.
4. Examples & Best Practices
- Keep it consistent – If you choose to show delivery dates on product pages, also enable them in the cart and checkout for a seamless customer experience.
- Use delivery promises wisely – Make sure your delivery promise logic (cutoff times, blackout days, handling times) matches your real shipping capabilities.
- Test across products – If some items have special handling times (e.g., custom products), confirm estimates display accurately for them.

Q: Why aren’t delivery dates showing up on my site?
- Check that the WeSupply Magento extension is installed and up to date.
- Verify that the Display Delivery Estimation option is enabled in your configuration.
- Ensure your delivery promises are properly configured in WeSupply.
Q: The estimates aren’t accurate. How can I fix this?
- Review your handling times, cutoff times, and carrier service settings in WeSupply. Incorrect settings can cause misaligned estimates.
Q: Do I need to clear the cache every time I make a change?
- Yes. After adjusting display settings in Magento, always clear the cache to make sure the changes appear on your storefront.
