1. Overview
The Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) feature in WeSupply helps set clear customer expectations by showing when an order is likely to arrive. EDD is calculated using factors such as order processing time, carrier transit time, holidays, and cut-off times. Alongside EDD, WeSupply’s Order Processing features let you configure specific business rules (like processing delays, days off, or cut-off times), ensuring your delivery promises remain accurate and realistic.
By combining these features, you can improve customer trust, reduce “Where is my order?” inquiries, and create a transparent post-purchase experience.

- Testing: Use the Delivery Promise Date Simulator in WeSupply to preview how dates are calculated before going live.
5. Troubleshooting / FAQ
Q: Why is my EDD not showing on product pages?
A: Make sure the Promise Date feature is enabled and carriers are configured with delivery promise settings.
Q: Can I apply different processing times for specific products?
A: Yes. You can use Estimated Delivery Rules with product attributes, SKUs, or feeds to apply exceptions.
Q: What happens if I forget to add holidays?
A: The system will calculate delivery estimates without accounting for closure days, which may result in inaccurate promises.
Q: Does EDD guarantee delivery dates?
A: No, EDD provides an estimate. Actual delivery may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, or high-volume periods.
