Some merchants want to enable WeSupply Advanced Tracking only for certain sales channels, such as their Website, while continuing to ship orders from other marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, or Walmart without tracking through WeSupply.
Current Limitations
At this time, WeSupply Advanced Tracking does not support filtering or limiting tracking updates by sales channel via the API. This means that advanced tracking cannot be enabled exclusively for Website shipments while excluding orders from Amazon SWA, eBay, or Walmart.
Additionally, Amazon SWA (Seller Wallet API) shipments are not supported for advanced tracking updates in WeSupply.
Alternative Solution: Delivery Notifications
If your goal is to provide customers with shipping visibility only for Website orders, you can consider using WeSupply Delivery Notifications.
This feature allows you to:
- Keep customers updated on their orders through branded notifications.
- Provide order tracking visibility for your Website shipments.
- Maintain consistency in customer experience even without advanced tracking for all channels.
