Let customers share a gift receipt with the recipient—so they can see tracking details without exposing prices or payment info. The feature adds a Share Gift Receipt button on the order view page (visible after the order ships).
2) Before You Begin
- You have Admin access to WeSupply.
- Your Order Page template is editable in Branding.
- The order you use for testing has a shipment (the button appears only after shipping).
3) Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 — Navigate to Branding Settings
- In your WeSupply Admin, go to Settings → Branding.
- Under Pages, select Order & Returns Page – Edit Template.
Step 2 — Activate the Share Gift Receipt Button
- In the template editor, open Content.
- Find the option labeled “Display Share Gift Receipt button?” and set it to Yes.
- Go back to the Design tab, and click the Save button.
4) How the Share Gift Receipt Feature Works
Once the feature is activated, here's what your customers can expect:

- The Share Gift Receipt button will appear on the order view page.

- When customers click on the Share Gift Receipt button, a unique gift link will be generated. This link will redirect the recipient to the tracking page of the order, providing them with all relevant shipping details and tracking information.
There's also the option to generate a PDF file with a QR code that redirects to the tracking page too.

- The recipient of the gift will receive the tracking information, allowing them to view when the package is expected to arrive and track its delivery status in real-time. This makes it easier for gift givers to ensure their presents arrive on time, while keeping the purchase details confidential.

5) Troubleshooting / FAQ
The button doesn’t appear.
- Confirm the toggle is enabled in the Order Page template.
- Check that the order has shipped; the button shows only post-shipment.
- Clear cache and re-open the order view page.
The gift link opens but shows no tracking.
- Ensure the order has an associated shipment & tracking event.
PDF won’t download or QR won’t show.
- Verify browser download permissions/pop-up settings.
- Re-generate the PDF and try again.
Can recipients see prices?
- No. The gift receipt and tracking link exclude pricing and payment details.
6) Summary
Enable the feature in Settings → Branding → Order Page – Edit Template → Content → “Display Share Gift Receipt button? = Yes.” After an order ships, customers can share a gift link (or PDF with QR) so recipients track the package without seeing prices—a simple, privacy-friendly gifting experience.
