You can now require customers to verify their email address before accessing any “View Order” links. This added layer of security ensures that only the rightful owner of the email address can view order details.
Overview
The Email Verification for View Order Links feature adds an authentication step when customers attempt to access their order through a link—such as those found in emails or notifications.
Once enabled, customers will be prompted to verify their email address before they can proceed to the order view page.
This helps protect sensitive order information and prevents unauthorized access.
How to Enable Email Verification
Follow the steps below to activate this feature in your WeSupply account:
Step 1: Navigate to Branding Settings
- Log in to your WeSupply account.
- Go to Settings → Branding.
Step 2: Open Configuration
• Inside the Branding section, select Configuration.
Step 3: Enable Email Verification
- Scroll down to the Advanced Configuration section.
- Locate the option Request email verification for view order links?
- Select YES.
- Save your changes.
What Customers Will See
Once this feature is enabled:
- When a customer clicks a View Order link (for example, from an email), they will be prompted to enter and verify their email address.
- A verification code or confirmation step will appear, ensuring the person accessing the link is the legitimate owner of the email.
- After successful verification, the customer will be redirected to their order view page.
This process ensures that order details remain secure and accessible only to the correct customer.
