🧾 Return Request
A return request means the customer is only sending an item back and getting a refund — no replacement item is involved.
How to identify it:
- You’ll see just one item listed.
- The status will show as "Return" and "Refunded".
- No replacement product will be mentioned.
🔁 Exchange Request
An exchange request means the customer is returning one item and receiving a different item in exchange.
How to identify it:
- You’ll see two items:
- One listed as the item being returned.
- One listed as the replacement item.
- The request will be labeled as "Exchange".
- Clicking into the order page will show which item is going out to the customer.
✅ Quick Tip: When in doubt, just click on the order number — you’ll be taken to the detailed view where everything is clearly labeled.
