Overview
By default, some return logics in WeSupply—like Defective Item—may allow customers to keep, donate, or dispose of the item instead of sending it back. If you'd prefer customers always return the product, you can easily adjust this in your return settings.
🔧 How to Disable the “Keep Item” Option
- Go to:
Settings → Return & Warranty Methods → Return Logic - Select the return reason (e.g., Defective Item) where the “keep item” option is currently enabled.
- Look for the setting:
Allow customer to keep the item?
→ Change this to No. - Configure next steps:
Once disabled, you can choose how the item should be returned:- Return by mail
- In-store return (if applicable)
- Apply a restocking fee
- Include/exclude refund of shipping costs
- Save your changes!
✅ Tip: You can customize each return reason individually, giving you full control over what happens in each case.
