Overview
Need to start an exchange on behalf of a customer? WeSupply gives you two flexible options: using the Admin Flow or the Customer Flow.
Option 1: Admin Flow (From the Backend)
You can manually initiate an exchange directly from the admin dashboard:
- Go to the order in your WeSupply Admin Panel.
- Click Start a Return.
- Select the item(s) to exchange.
- Choose Exchange for something else.
- Select the new item(s) to be sent.
Note: If payment is required for the exchange, it will follow your current return logic settings.
Option 2: Customer Flow (Mimic the Customer)
You can also simulate the exchange process as if you were the customer:
- Open the Return Center in an incognito window.
- Access the order using the customer's email and order number.
- Follow the return/exchange steps from the customer’s perspective.
- Check your Return Logic settings to ensure exchanges are allowed:
- Confirm exchange rules (e.g., item value differences).
- Adjust any restrictions based on product type, price, or return reason.
