How to Validate Your Account for SMS Notifications
Before using SMS notifications for order tracking and returns on the WeSupply Labs platform, your account must be validated by the WeSupply team.
Since SMS is a paid service with costs that vary depending on the recipient's country, this validation step ensures that your business is legitimate and that the service is used responsibly.
Account validation is done by opening a request with the support team, who will review your information and activate the SMS functionality once the verification process is completed.
Note: Only live production environments are validated for SMS usage.
This policy ensures compliance with carrier filtering regulations and prevents SMS messages from being flagged as spam when used in testing environments. If testing is required, we recommend doing so in the production environment.
Step 1: Sign in to your WeSupply Labs account
Go to the WeSupply Labs website.
Log in using your registered email address and password.
Step 2: Navigate to the SMS settings
From the main dashboard, click the Settings tab.
Select the Notifications menu.
Open the SMS Notifications section.
Step 3: Open a support request for account validation
To validate your account for SMS usage:
Open a support request with the WeSupply team.
In your request, mention that you would like to enable SMS notifications for your account.
Your request should include basic information about your business to help the team complete the validation process. This may include:
Your business website
Your name and role in the company
A short description of how you plan to use SMS notifications
Approximate order volume (optional but helpful)
The support team will review your request and may contact you if additional information is required.
Step 4: Account review and validation
Once the request is submitted:
The WeSupply Labs team will review your account details.
If needed, they may follow up via email to request additional information.
Step 5: Set up SMS notifications for order tracking and returns
After activation:
Return to Settings → Notifications → SMS Notifications in your account.
Configure the SMS notifications you want to enable.
Customize the message templates and choose which events trigger SMS notifications.
Common SMS notifications include:
Shipping Confirmation
Shipment Exception
Out for Delivery
Shipment Delivered
