Offering flexibility to your customers during the return process can significantly improve their experience. One helpful feature available in WeSupply is the option to generate a QR code for return shipping labels.
What the QR Code Feature Does
When you enable the “Generate QR Code” option in your Return Shipping settings, your customers will have two options for obtaining their return label:
- Print the label themselves, as usual
- Use a QR code, which can be scanned by the carrier (e.g., UPS) at the drop-off location to print the label on-site
This is especially helpful for customers who don’t have access to a printer or are experiencing printing issues.
What It Means for You
- Customers get both options: The system automatically provides both the printable label and the QR code.
- No extra cost: There is no price difference between using the printed label or the QR code option—the cost to you remains the same.
- Improved return experience: Your customers enjoy a smoother, more accessible return process, regardless of their access to a printer.
How to Enable the QR Code Option
- Go to Settings → Return and Warranty Methods
- Open the Return Shipping Settings
- Set “Generate QR Code” to Yes
- Save your changes
Once enabled, the QR code will automatically be included in the return confirmation and accessible through the return portal.
This feature is a great way to reduce friction and support a more user-friendly return experience, especially during busy seasons or for customers on the go.
