How to Enable Tracking for Metropolitan Warehouse and Dickerson Transportation

1) Overview

Enable built-in tracking for Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery (MWD) and Dickerson Transportation so shipment events flow into WeSupply and display on your branded tracking pages.

2) Before You Begin

• You have Admin access to your WeSupply account.
• You have carrier credentials from Metropolitan Warehouse and/or Dickerson Transportation.
• You know where to find Settings → Carriers → Tracking Carriers in the WeSupply admin.

3) Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Open Tracking Carriers

1. Log in to your WeSupply dashboard.
2. Go to Settings → Carriers → Tracking Carriers.
   

Step 2 — Add a New Carrier

1. Click Add New Carrier.
   

Step 3 — Select the Carrier

1. In the list, search for Metropolitan Warehouse or Dickerson Transportation.
2. Click the carrier to open its configuration.
   

Step 4 — Enter Credentials

Fill in the required fields for your selected carrier:

Dickerson Transportation

• Customer number
• API key
• API password
• Environment mode (e.g., Sandbox/Production)

Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery (MWD)

• API key
• Environment mode (e.g., Sandbox/Production)

Step 5 — Save & Finish

1. Click Save.
2. WeSupply will start pulling tracking updates from the connected carrier(s). These events will appear in your admin and on your customer-facing tracking pages.

4) Best Practices

• Validate credentials first: If you’re unsure about any field, confirm with your carrier rep before saving.
• Test one order: After connecting, track a recent shipment to confirm events (pickup, in transit, delivered) populate correctly.
• Keep environments aligned: Match your Environment mode to where your orders exist (use Sandbox only for testing).

5) Troubleshooting / FAQ

Nothing is syncing after I saved.

• Re-check your API key/password/customer number and Environment mode.
• Confirm the shipment actually exists and has recent scans with the carrier.

I don’t see the carriers in the list.

• Make sure you’re on Tracking Carriers and use the search bar. Check spelling for “Metropolitan Warehouse” and “Dickerson Transportation.”

We support both carriers—can we connect both?

• Yes. Add each carrier separately with its own credentials.

6) Summary

Go to Settings → Carriers → Tracking Carriers, click Add New Carrier, select Metropolitan Warehouse or Dickerson Transportation, enter the required credentials (including Environment mode), and Save. Tracking events will then sync into WeSupply and appear on your customer tracking pages.
