WeSupply now gives you even more control over your return experience with a new setting that allows comments and photo uploads to be optional during the return request process.
Why This Feature Is Useful
Previously, if your return logic required customers to upload images or leave a comment, these fields were mandatory, which could lead to friction, especially for customers who may not have a photo ready or don’t feel a comment is necessary. By making these fields optional, you create a smoother and more flexible return experience. This also helps reduce drop-off rates while still giving customers the opportunity to share additional context if they wish.
How It Works
When you enable this setting, customers will see the fields for image and comment uploads during the return process, but they won’t be required to fill them out. If they choose not to include a photo or comment, they’ll still be able to complete their return request without interruption.
To enable optional comments and photos:
- Go to Settings → Return and Warranty Methods → Return Logics and Policies
- Create a new return logic or edit an existing one
- Scroll down to the Requirements section
- Choose whether comments and photos should be mandatory or optional
That’s it! Once enabled, your return logic will allow customers to decide if they want to provide additional information, while still keeping the process seamless and efficient.
