With this feature, you can configure WeSupply to display the pickup PIN only for curbside pickups, while keeping the standard in-store pickup process simpler. This helps you tailor the pickup experience based on how customers choose to collect their orders.
Why This Feature is Useful
For curbside pickups, requiring a PIN adds an extra layer of security, ensuring that the right customer receives the correct order without confusion. However, in traditional in-store pickups, the PIN may not be necessary since staff can verify the order directly at the counter. By enabling this option, you provide a streamlined experience for in-store customers while still maintaining security for curbside transactions.
How to Enable Show PIN for Curbside Only
- Go to Settings → Locations → In-Store and Curbside Pickup.
- Scroll down to the Show PIN for Curbside Only section.
- Select the option to show the pickup PIN only for curbside pickups.
- Click Save to apply changes.
✅ Once enabled, customers selecting curbside pickup will see their PIN in their notification, while in-store pickup customers will not be prompted with one.
Best Practices
- Train your staff: Make sure store associates know that PINs are required for curbside orders, but not for in-store pickups.
- Double-check customer details: Even with a PIN, staff should confirm customer information (name, order number) before handing over items.
- Use PINs for security: This is especially helpful during busy times or when multiple curbside pickups happen simultaneously.

Q: What if a customer loses their PIN?
A: Store staff can look up the customer’s order in the WeSupply admin and verify their identity with other details (name, order number, or email) to complete the pickup.
Q: Why is the PIN still showing for in-store pickup?
A: Double-check that the Show PIN for Curbside Only option is toggled ON and saved in the settings. If the issue persists, clear cache and refresh the settings page.
Q: Can I disable the PIN completely?
A: Yes. If you toggle OFF both the PIN and Show PIN for Curbside Only options, no pickup PIN will be shown for any order type.
Q: Does enabling this feature affect my existing notifications?
A: No. Notifications will continue to be sent normally. The only change is whether or not the pickup PIN appears based on the order type.
