Overview
In short, Shopify enables you to add different tags (also known as labels) to your products and orders. Your Shopify account's information can be sorted, filtered, organized, and arranged using tags in a way that makes the most sense to you. You might have different product tags, order tags, and even vendor tags to better target and organize your products and manage your orders.
In order to set return rules in WeSupply and manage return policies more effectively, you can now target products by order tag, product tag, and vendor. You can set up non-returnable items like cosmetics and accessories, return items to different locations based on vendors, or just choose a particular group of orders to which you'd like to apply a different return rule.
Automating the entire process will save you and your staff a ton of extra work, enhances customer satisfaction, and eliminate the need to manually review each return.
Note: The WeSupply return policies will apply based on the existing Shopify Tags at the moment of the order placement. Any subsequent changes to the tags used for your products will not affect historical orders. If you wish for the new tags to apply to historical orders as well, then you need to update those orders so the new information will be sent to WeSupply.

If the product has multiple product tags in Shopify and you would like to build return rules using just one of the product tags, we recommend using either the Contains, Is one of, Is not one of, or Does not contain rules.

- Target specific orders to limit return creation;
- Set up a specific restocking fee for particular products (expensive products, or even final sale items if you allow those to be returned);
- Create different return rules for each vendor or brand since you may have different return policies depending on the vendor;
- Target products by vendor and return products to the original vendor location;
- Set up a nonreturnable return window for certain products, vendors, or even orders;
- Allow customers to keep specific products and only offer a refund if returned.
