To set up a return rule with specific return conditions, follow the steps listed below.
In WeSupply, you can set up different return logics based on multiple return conditions:
- Return Reason
- Country
- Product Order Attribute
- Product Feed Attribute
- Product SKU
- Discount value
- Return count per order
- Customer Group
- Date Range
- Return Subtotal
- Item Status
- Price Ending
First, log into your WeSupply account.
Step 1
Go to Settings -> Return Methods -> Return Logics and Policies
Step 2
Click Add logic:

Set up the Logic Name and its Priority. Make sure the logic is active by toggling on the Enabled button:

Under Conditions -> click Add:

Here you have multiple return conditions that you can select to build your custom return rules.
- A. Return Reason
You can set up multiple return reasons to match your own return use cases:
a) if the product is damaged in shipment offer a free return
b) if the customer changed their mind charge for the return cost
c) if the product is defective send a replacement
d) if the product is missing a part send the customer the missing part
e) if the customer ordered the wrong size issue refund
f) if the product is damaged, submit a photo proof and comments
From the Condition dropdown, choose Return reason:
Once selecting the Return reason filter, you can either set up a return logic for a specific return reason as below:
Or exclude a specific return reason:
- B. Country
a) if the customer is from another country charge for returns
b) if the customer is from a specific country do not allow returns
c) if the customer is from a specific country return to that country's return center
d) if the customer is from a specific country and requires authorization
From the Condition dropdown, choose Country:
Once selecting the Country filter, you can either set up a return logic to allow returns from a specific country as below:
Or exclude a specific country:
- C. Product Order Attribute
a) if the product is a specific brand, do not allow a return
b) if the product has a specific attribute/tag have a different return window
c) if the product is customized do not allow a return
d) if the product has the attribute/tag final sale do not allow a return
e) if the product has a specific attribute/tag return to a different location
f) if the product attributes/tagged as dropship return to the dropshipped
g) if the product has the attribute accessory charge for return fees
h) if the product is attributed/tagged as electronic set 14-day return policy vs 30-day default
i) if the product has a specific attribute/tag, the customer can simply keep the item, no return is necessary to issue a refund
From the Condition dropdown, choose Product Order Attribute:
Once selecting the Product Order Attribute filter, you can set up a return logic based on a specific product order attribute.
Next, insert the Attribute Name (i.e.: color). From the Option dropdown, choose the rule that you would like to apply for the product order attribute. Lastly, insert the value for the attribute name (i.e.: for color attribute, you can insert as value ''blue'':
- D. Product Feed Attribute
From the Condition dropdown, choose Product Feed Attribute:
Once selecting the Product Feed Attribute filter, you can set up a return logic based on a specific product feed attribute.

- E. Product SKU
a) if the product SKU is "ABC" set a specific outcome (non-returnable, different return policy, require authorization, return to a different location)
b) if the product is a specific SKU, charge a restocking fee
c) if the product is perishable, send photo proof of being discarded or destroyed
d) if the product SKU is "ABC" only allow in-store return
e) if the product SKU is "ABC" issue a store credit or gift card
f) it the product SKU is "ABC" return it to the recycling center, no in-store returns are allowed
From the Condition dropdown, choose Product SKU:
Once selecting the Product SKU filter, you can either set up a return logic based on a specific product SKU:
Or exclude specific Product SKUs from the return logic:
- F. Discount value
a) if the discount value is over $100 do not allow a return
b) if the discount value is over 50% do not allow a return
From the Condition dropdown, choose Discount value:
Select if the discount value should be smaller or greater than the discount amount to be set up:
Insert the desired value.
The discount value can be set up as a fixed price or as a percentage:
- G. Return count per order
a) if the customer purchases multiple products in 1 order offer free return only for the first 2 returned items, afterward charge for it
b) only allow 2 separate returns per order, everything afterward cannot be returned, or you will charge a return fee
From the Condition dropdown, choose Return count per order:
Select if the return count per order should be smaller or greater than the number of returns to be set up:
Insert the desired value.
- H. Return count per customer
a) if the customer is returning 5 times in 30 days require manual approval before confirming the return, to decrease return fraud for abusers
b) if the customer is returning 5 times in a year or more charge for the return label
c) if the customer is returning less than 5 times in a year offer free returns, afterward charge for it
From the Condition, choose Return count per customer:
Select if the return count per customer should be smaller or greater than the number of returns to be set up:
Insert the desired value.
From the Interval dropdown, select the number of days:
- I. Customer Group
a) VIP customers get free returns
b) VIP customers get extended returns 60 days vs 30days for everybody else
c) Wholesalers need to pay for their own return
d) Abusers/Wardrobers/Banned customers cannot return products or they need to pay for a return
e) Abusers/Wardrobers/Banned customers require manual review before submitting a return
From the Condition dropdown, choose Customer Group:
From the Option dropdown, choose the rule that you would like to apply for the customer group.
Insert the name of the customer group.
- J. Order Date Range
a) During holidays, all orders from November 1st until December 31st have a 90-day return policy
b) During holidays, all orders from November 1st until December 31st can be returned until January 15th
c) All orders between two dates can be returned for free
d) for new limited edition products, returns are not accepted 30 days from the release date
From the Condition dropdown, choose Order Date Range:
Choose the Date Range:
- K. Return Subtotal
a) if the return is below $10, simply keep the item and we issue a refund
b) if the return is above $1000 requires a manual review
c) if the return is below $50 issue a gift card or store credit
From the Condition dropdown, choose Return Subtotal:
From the option dropdown, choose the rule that you would like to apply for the return subtotal:
Insert the value of the return subtotal.
- L. Item Status
a) if the product is downloadable do not require it to be sent back, just issue a refund
b) if the product is sent directly from the vendor/dropshipped requires manual authorization and is returned to a specific location
From the Condition dropdown, choose Item Status:
You can set up a rule to include or exclude a specific Item Status:
Select the desired Item Status.
- M. Price Ending
a) if the price of the product ends in .99 (sale products) allow return but charge for the label
b) if the price of the product ends in .93 (clearance) do not allow returns (final sale)
c) if the price of the product ends in .93 (clearance) return it to the closest clearance store
d) if the price of the product ends in .00 (full-priced item) return to Web Warehouse
From the Condition dropdown, choose Price Ending:
You can set up a rule to include or exclude specific items for the return based on price ending:
Add comma-separated ending prices (i.e: .93, .99).
Step 6
Once your conditions are successfully configured, click on the Add button.
After you finished adding all the desired conditions for the return logic, click on Save Changes.
