If you are using Magento with WeSupply and are not leveraging WeSupply’s built-in tracking solution, you may notice that delivery statuses are not automatically updated. Fortunately, there is a simple way to manually mark an order as delivered so that your return workflows can proceed smoothly.
Why This Is Important
Marking an order as delivered is a required step before returns can be initiated. Since WeSupply cannot automatically detect delivery status from Magento unless tracking is integrated, manually updating the status allows you to enable returns for your customers or process returns on their behalf when needed.
How to Manually Mark an Order as Delivered
To manually update an order’s status to “Delivered” in WeSupply:
- Open the Order:
Navigate to the order you wish to update within your WeSupply dashboard. - Start a Return:
Click on the “Start a return for the customer” button. - Confirm Delivery Status:
A pop-up window will appear asking whether you want to mark the order as delivered.
Click “Yes” to confirm.
Once marked as delivered, the order will be eligible for return processing based on your return policies and configurations.
Alternative Option: Enable Returns for Unfulfilled Orders
If you prefer not to mark orders manually, you can choose to enable returns for unfulfilled orders. This setting allows returns to be requested even if the system has not automatically marked the order as delivered.
Keep in mind: enabling returns for unfulfilled orders may introduce operational risks if used without proper internal workflows.
