When setting up a custom domain in WeSupply, businesses often want to align the URL path with their brand and preferred naming conventions. While domain customization is available, it’s important to understand how URL routing works within the platform.
Why URL Routing Is Important
WeSupply allows merchants to configure their own custom domains — for example, orders.yourstore.com — which helps create a more seamless and branded customer experience.
However, when customers visit this domain, it automatically appends /orders-lookup to direct them to the order lookup page. This specific path is tied to the structure of the WeSupply platform and ensures the routing works correctly across all services.
Can I Customize the URL Path?
At this time, the URL path /orders-lookup is not customizable. While you can fully configure the domain (e.g., orders.yourstore.com), the routing to /orders-lookup is a fixed part of the system.
This ensures consistent functionality and avoids routing errors. If you’d like to simplify your customers' experience, we recommend setting up a redirect from a preferred path (like /lookup) to the full /orders-lookup path using your own web host or DNS provider settings.
