In order for your customer to be updated with the status of their in-store pickup orders, into your WeSupply account you have to enable the Pickup Notifications. Those will be triggered from WeSupply once the status of the items ordered is changed.
Your associates will have full control over the status of the in-store pickup orders, being able to keep customers up to date when their in-store orders are ready to be picked-up, notify them when the order was picked-up, inform them if this was canceled and when the store is unable to fulfill an order.
To enable and customize the Pickup Notifications into WeSupply, please go to the WeSupply Login Page and log into your WeSupply account.
Step 1
To enable your Pickup Notifications, head to Settings -> Branding -> Notifications -> scroll down to Pickup -> check off the desired Email/SMS notifications -> click Save.
You can enable the following Pickup Notifications:
- Order is Ready for Pickup
- Order was Picked Up
- Order Pickup Reminder
- Order was Cancelled
- Order is Unable to Fulfill
- Customer is Waiting Outside
Step 2
To customize the Pickup Notifications, go to Settings -> Branding -> Notifications -> scroll down to Pickup -> Edit Template for the desired Email/SMS notifications.
Step 3
Here you'll be able to customize your pickup notifications templates so that they can match the overall design of your brand.
On the left-hand side, you'll find the Colors & Fonts tab, from where you can change the colors and fonts of your email templates. Make sure to click the Save button once you're done.
Step 4
If you're comfortable with HTML and CSS, on the left-hand side, you will be able to find also the email HTML&CSS code editor, where you can change the existing template and add your own extra sections if needed.
Click over the Template Variables tab so that the HTML&CSS Code Editor to be opened.
From the Template Variables tab, you can select any of the listed variables by clicking on ''Copy''. Then paste the variables along with your own custom content into the Code Editor section. Make sure to click the Save button when you're done.
Tip: Under the Templates Variables tab -> Order Information section -> you will find specific in-store pickup variables such as: [*pickup_store_pin*], [*pickup_store_id*], [*pickup_store_name*], etc., that you can make use of to improve your customers' post-purchase experience.
Enter your email address and click Test Email to check how the notification looks like!
Step 5
To customize the corresponding SMS notification, just switch to the SMS tab.
Now you'll be able to insert any of the Templates Variables and change the default messaging available into the SMS container. Make sure to click the Save button when you're done.
Enter your phone number and click Test SMS to see how the SMS notification would look like!
