Set up as many return logics as you need to maximize the margin of your store.
First, log into the WeSupply Admin Page.
We think this video will just make things easier for you, so check it out to see how to set up your first return logic into your WeSupply account. :)
Step 1
Go to Settings -> Return Methods -> Return Logics and Policies section -> click over Add Logic or Edit a default one.
Step 2
You can start to create your Return Logic by inserting a Logic Name for it, along with the corresponding Priority number you'd like to set. Also, make sure that the return logic is active, by clicking over the Inactive/Active toggle button.
Step 3
Looking down a bit, you'll be able to find the Conditions section. Here you can set up the conditions you'd like to be applied for this return logic, by clicking the Add Condition button.
Next, you'll have to Select a Filter -> and Select a Reason. After that, make sure to click the Add button.

Step 4
Under the Refunds section, you can set up the following:
1. The Timeframe in which returns can be initiated. It can be set up as follows:
- a fixed return window;
- a specific date in the future.
More on this can be found here: How to Set Up Specific Date Range for an Extended Return Policy?
2. Require Authorization:
- set up an automatic approval flow;
- set up a flow that requires manual approval.
More on this can be found here: How Does the Approval of Returns Work in WeSupply?
3. Refund Method
- refund;
- store credit;
- offline refund;
- gift card.
Step 5
From the Instant Credit section, you can opt-in to give your customers the choice between a refund and store credit which can be used in your store once the refund has been accepted.
If you enable this setting by clicking on yes, another option will appear from which you can select the amount of Extra Store Credit to be given to your customers. If you do not wish to use it, simply select the value of 0.
More on how you can set up an instant credit can be found here: How to issue coupon credit for a refund?
Step 6
In the Requirements section, you can choose if you want your customers to submit a comment or upload an image of the product while initiating the return request.

Step 7
Under the Keep the Item section, you can allow customers to keep items they request a return for. Most often, this option is used for low-cost items when the return cost & handling can be higher than the cost of the product.
How to handle returns that do not require the product to be sent back (Keep the Item)?
Step 8
Next up, in the Restocking Fee section, you can choose to charge an extra restocking fee once your customers submit a return request. This can be set up as:
- free of cost per the entire return request;
- the percentage of the item price will be applied per each returned product;
- a fixed amount per the entire return request.
Step 9
You can select if you want to Refund Shipping Costs:
- if Yes, the shipping fee will be refunded to the customer;
- if No, the shipping fee won't be refunded to the customer.
Step 10
If you enable the Return to a retail store option, it will allow your customers to return the items to a physical store, instead of shipping them back.
NOTE: In order for this setting to be available while configuring your logic, you must have your returns locations configured.
Step 11
In the Return by Mail section, you will be able to configure the following:
A. The Return Cost:
- allow for free returns;
- set up a fixed amount as a cost for returns;
- set up the cost per return as the label cost.
B. Whether to Generate a return label:
- if selected Yes, a return label will be automatically generated once the customer submits a return request;
- if selected No, the customer won't receive a return label.
If you opt-in for generating a return label and the customer will return multiple products at the same time, you can choose to create a return label for each item that will be returned. You can select this option from the Create Multiple Label section.
C. The Return Disposition if you would like for the item(s) to be returned to a different location.
