First, log into the WeSupply Admin Page.
Setup Default Return Window
- Go to Settings → Return Methods → Return Settings:
- Scroll down to the Default Return Window & Return Window Start Date section. Here, you'll be able to set a default return window between 0 - 364 days. Then you can set up the Return Window Start Date. Click over the Save changes button, and the default return window will be applied as default to all Return Rules.
Setup Return Window for Individual Rules
- Go to Settings → Return Methods → Return Logics Policies. Here, you can create or edit a new logic.
- Go to the Refunds section → Return Window, and here you'll be able to customize the Return Window to an individual rule. Don't forget to Save your changes.
WeSupply provides a few different ways to set your return window:- Not returnable: Items that are under this return logic won't be displayed as returnable for customers;
- Unlimited window: The customer can start a return request at any time;
-
Limited window: The customer can only start a return request if their order is within the time-frame set, that can be setup in days, weeks, months, or years.
Custom Return Window is useful when combined with various product tags
Example: Your store might sell mobile phones as well as TVs. Your return window for mobile phones can be 15 days, while the return window for TVs is 45.
As soon as the product is shipped, the customer can easily see how many days they have until they can return the product.
If the customer tries to return a product after the return period passes (eg. a return window of 30 days and the customer tries to return after 35 days), the customer will not be able to request a return for the product.
If you sell products that are non-returnable, set the return window as not returnable:
