WeSupply now offers a new feature that allows you to display the return label price in the return preview before customers finalize their return request. This improvement adds transparency to the return process by ensuring that customers know exactly how much they will be charged for the return label before proceeding.
Why Is This Feature Useful?
β
Improves Transparency β Customers will see the exact cost of the return label upfront, preventing confusion or unexpected fees.
β
Enhances Customer Trust β By showing the return label price, businesses provide a clearer and more predictable return experience.
β
Reduces Support Inquiries β Customers wonβt need to contact support for clarification on return costs, as they can view it directly in the return preview.
β
Encourages Faster Decision-Making β With clear cost visibility, customers can decide whether to proceed with the return more quickly.
How to Enable the Return Label Price in the Return Preview
Step 1: Configure the Return Cost Setting
- Log in to your WeSupply Admin Panel.
- Navigate to Settings β Return and Warranty Methods β Return Logics and Policies.
- Select an existing return logic or create a new one.
- In the Return Cost section, ensure that one of the following options is selected:
- Return Label Cost β The customer will be charged the exact cost of the return shipping label.
- Return Label Cost Upcharge β The customer will be charged an additional fee on top of the return label cost.
Step 2: Enable Rate Calculation
- Once the Return Cost is set to one of the options above, a new setting will appear (e.g., "Enable Rate Calculation").
- Toggle this setting ON to display the return label cost in the return preview.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
By default, this feature is disabled, so you will need to manually enable it to show return label pricing in the preview.
How It Works
Scenario 1: Feature Disabled
- The return label generation process remains unchanged.
- For both Return Label Cost and Return Label Cost Upcharge, customers will see a general message about return label costs rather than a specific price.
Scenario 2: Feature Enabled (Returns)
- In the Return Summary, the exact return label cost will be displayed instead of a generic message.
- If an upcharge is applied, the return label price will be calculated correctly and shown in the preview before the customer completes the return request.
Scenario 3: Feature Enabled (Even Exchanges)
- If a customer requests an even exchange, they will be asked to pay the return label cost before completing the process.
- This functions similarly to a more expensive exchange, where the price difference must be paid before finalizing the exchange.
Final Thoughts
With this feature, WeSupply enhances cost visibility and transparency in the return process. Whether you charge customers for return labels or add an upcharge, they will now see the exact amount before finalizing their return.
