When configuring return rules in WeSupply, you may notice that the EasyPost Carrier is not automatically selected. This article explains why this occurs and how you can simplify the process to avoid manually re-selecting a carrier each time you enable a rule.
Why Isn’t a Carrier Automatically Selected?
By default, WeSupply allows flexibility in your return process by providing the option to use different carriers for specific return rules. If you don’t explicitly select a carrier, the system assumes you might want to customize the carrier for that particular rule. However, this step is unnecessary if you plan to use your standard carrier for all returns.
How to Ensure the Standard Carrier Is Used Automatically
To avoid manually selecting the carrier each time you configure or enable a rule, follow these steps:
- Access the Return Rules:
- Go to Settings → Returns and Warranty Methods → Return Rules in your WeSupply dashboard.
- Check the “Use a Different Return Carrier” Option:
- When setting up or editing a return rule, locate the Use a Different Return Carrier toggle.
- Disable the Option:
- If you want to continue using your standard carrier, simply mark No for the “Use a Different Return Carrier” option. This will bypass the need to manually select a carrier for each rule.
- Save the Rule:
- After disabling the option, click Save to ensure the rule is updated with your preferences.
What's Next?
By disabling the Use a Different Return Carrier option, you can streamline your return rule setup and ensure your standard carrier is applied automatically. This approach saves time and minimizes configuration errors.
