In cases where you already have a return label and tracking number for a return, WeSupply allows you to assign the existing tracking number to the return request without creating a new label. This feature is perfect for streamlining the return process when you’ve already prepared a return shipment for your customer.

How to Enable and Set a Tracking Number for a Return
Follow these steps to use an existing tracking number for a return:
- Archive the Return Request:
- Go to the backend and locate the existing return request.
- Archive the request by selecting the Archive option.
- Start a New Return Request:
- Open the order associated with the return and initiate a new return request.
- Select the item(s) the customer is returning.
- Skip Label Creation:
- When prompted to create a return label, select No.
- Choose how the customer will be refunded and select the option I would like to ship them back.
- Submit the Return Request:
- Finalize the return request by submitting it.
- Add the Tracking Number:
- After submitting the request, navigate to the return summary page.
- Locate the Tracking Number field.
- Enter the existing tracking number by copying and pasting it into the field.
- Submit the Tracking Information:
- Click Submit to attach the tracking number to the return request.
What's Next?
Once the tracking number is added, the return request will be updated, and the customer can track the return shipment without the need for a new label. This ensures a seamless return process while avoiding unnecessary label generation.
