This feature allows your customers to easily share a gift receipt with the recipient of their order, providing a seamless way to let the recipient know about their gift while maintaining the privacy of the purchase details.
Here’s how you can enable and use this feature:
Enabling the Share Gift Receipt Feature
To start using the Share Gift Receipt feature, follow these simple steps to enable it on your WeSupply account:
- Navigate to Branding Settings:
- Go to your WeSupply Dashboard and select Branding from the menu.
- Access the Order Page Template:
- Under Pages, choose the Order Page Edit Template.
- Activate the Share Gift Receipt Button:
- In the Content section of the template editor, find the option labeled “Display Share Gift Receipt button?” and set it to Yes.
Once enabled, the Share Gift Receipt button will be displayed on the order view page, but only after the order has been shipped. This ensures that customers can share a gift receipt with the recipient once the order is in transit and ready for delivery.
How the Share Gift Receipt Feature Works
Once the feature is activated, here's what your customers can expect:

- The Share Gift Receipt button will appear on the order view page, but only if the order status is marked as shipped. This prevents customers from sharing an incomplete or unshipped order.

- When customers click on the Share Gift Receipt button, a unique gift link will be generated. This link will redirect the recipient to the tracking page of the order, providing them with all relevant shipping details and tracking information.
