How it works
When setting up return logics in your WeSupply account, it's essential to understand the distinction between generating return labels for each item and each quantity. Generating return labels for each item means creating a separate label for each individual item within a return request. This is useful when customers return multiple distinct items from their order, as it ensures each item is accounted for in the return process.
On the other hand, generating return labels for each quantity means that only one label is generated per item type, regardless of the amount of that item being returned. This option is beneficial when customers return multiple units of the same item, simplifying the labeling process and potentially reducing administrative overhead.
By understanding these options and selecting the most suitable one based on your business's needs, you can streamline your return process and provide a smoother experience for your customers and your team.

FAQ
- What's the difference between generating return labels for each item and each quantity? In contrast, "generate return label for each quantity" produces a single return label for the entire quantity of the returned item.
- Which option is best for my e-commerce store: generating return labels for each item or each quantity? The choice depends on your specific business needs. If you anticipate returns of multiple items within an order, generating a return label for each item allows for more detailed tracking and processing. However, generating a single return label for the entire quantity may be more efficient if your returns typically involve multiple quantities of the same item.
- Do I have to generate a label? No, you can choose not to provide return labels at all.
