Curbside pickup is a convenient method for customers to collect their online or in-store purchases without entering the physical store. Instead, customers can drive up to a designated area outside the store, and store associates will bring their orders directly to their vehicles.
This article will demonstrate the curbside pickup process step by step from a customer perspective:
Step 1
Customers can place an order online or in-store and choose the pickup option during the checkout process.
Step 2
Once the order is marked as ready for pickup within WeSupply, the customer receives a notification via email or SMS, informing them that their order is ready and providing instructions on the pickup location. They can opt-in between In-Store Pickup and Curbside Pickup.
Step 3
The customer drives to the designated curbside pickup area at the store. Some stores may have specific signage or designated parking spots for curbside pickup.
Step 4
Upon arrival at the store, customers can initiate the pick-up process from their mobile devices by clicking just one button.
Step 5
For customers who opt for Curbside Pick-Up, they can provide details about their vehicle, such as the make, type, and color. This information helps store staff easily identify the customer's vehicle, ensuring a quick and efficient curbside pick-up.
Step 6
Once the customer has arrived and provided all necessary information, they can notify the store staff of their arrival with a simple click. The staff will then bring the order out to the customer.
Step 7
Once the store is notified, the customer will automatically get a PIN that will be used to verify the customer's identity when the order is brought by the store associates.
Step 8
The customer receives their order, and the store associate marks the order as completed in the WeSupply system.
