Step 1: Enabling the Instant Credit Processor
The first step in activating the Instant Credit functionality is to enable the Instant Credit Processor. Here is how to go about it:
1. Navigate to 'Settings' -> select the 'Return Methods' option.
2. Proceed to 'Advanced Settings'.
3. Scroll down to find the 'Instant Credit Processor' option.
4. Select 'Shopify' as your Instant Credit Processor.
5. Under the 'Instant Credit Method', choose 'Discount Code'.

Step 2: Enabling the Instant Credit Refund Method
After enabling the Instant Credit Processor, the next step is to activate the Instant Credit refund method under your return policies. Here's how:
1. Go back to 'Settings' -> 'Return Methods'
2. Click on 'Return Logics and Policies'.
3. Edit the existing return policies or add a new one.
4. Scroll down to the 'Instant Credit' section.
5. Enable it by toggling the button to the 'On' position.
Step 3: Configure the Instant Credit Refund Method
1. Configure Refund Outcomes: There are three possible outcomes that you can set up:
- Do Not Offer Additional Bonus Credit: This option means that the customer will receive only the exact amount of their return as instant credit, with no additional bonus.
- Flat Bonus Credit Amount: This option allows you to set a flat bonus amount that will be added to the customer's instant credit. For instance, if you set a flat bonus amount of $10, the customer will receive their return amount plus an additional $10 as instant credit.
- Percentage of Return Value: This option allows you to set a bonus amount as a percentage of the return value. For instance, if you set a bonus amount of 10%, a customer returning a $100 item will receive $110 as instant credit. If this option is enabled, a new dropdown will appear that allows you to set a Maximum Bonus amount. This prevents the bonus from exceeding a certain amount, regardless of the return value.
2. Apply Return Cost/Restocking Fee: WeSupply Labs platform also allows you to apply the return cost or restocking fee to the value of the Discount Code generated. To activate this option, toggle on the 'enabled' button next to the option you want to apply.
3. Don't forget to save your changes.

If a refund is issued in the form of a discount code, the customer should receive the code via email. To ensure this, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Settings → Branding → Notifications → Return Notifications. Look for Request Refund Issued and click on the pencil next to it to edit it.
- Include the code in your notification:
