Step 1: Install the WeSupply App
1.1. Visit the BigCommerce Marketplace and search for the WeSupply app.
1.2. Click on the app and select "Install" to add it to your e-commerce store.
Step 2: Set Up Your WeSupply Account
2.1. Once the app is installed, a WeSupply account will automatically be created for you.
2.2. Orders and tracking numbers will be imported into the WeSupply platform, allowing you to easily manage your orders. Syncing the tracking numbers is very important to calculate your return window from the delivery date.
Step 3: Link the Tracking and Return Portal to Your Website
3.1. Add a link to the WeSupply tracking and return portal on your website by using the following link format: https://youraccountname.labs.wesupply.xyz. *You can customize your returns portal domain to point to your custom domain, such as returns.yourcompanyname.com
3.2. Customers can now initiate returns using their order number, zip code, or email address.
3.3. Additionally, you can change the default order page of BigCommerce from the My Account section with the WeSupply one and customers will be able to start a return right from their accounts.
Step 4: Automatic Return Window Calculation
4.1. When customers look up their orders, the return window will be calculated automatically based on the return policies you've set up in the backend.
Step 5: Initiate Returns
5.1. Customers can select the items they wish to return and start the return process.
5.2. WeSupply provides an automatic digital return experience, creating a label for the customer to print and stick to their package.
Step 6: Manage Returns in the WeSupply Returns Portal
6.1. Your customer service team can access the WeSupply returns portal to manage all return requests.
6.2. They can view the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) numbers associated with each order, as well as the customer's email address, return label, the status of the returned product, etc.
6.3. Customer service can approve or reject return requests, adjust return shipping costs, issue refunds, and manage other aspects of the return process.
6.4. The refund goes back to BigCommerce to close the status of the items returned, the customer is refunded and notified automatically via email/SMS.
